"nessy" is a work that borders between movement theatre, installation and intervention. Four embroidered masks encapsulate different creatures: a mermaid cat, a dancing tree, a Demi-human and a dancing root. There is a large paper installation created from a Manitoba fishing net, an illegal product on the commercial market due to overfishing. The net is hung across the room with each hole strung with recycled paper.

In this performance, four actors embody nessy as an animal born from the consequence of these circumstances. The creature is playful and curious and interacts with audiences in a bird-like manner. The costume is created from fabrics and a fishing net, embroidered with plastic pearls, condoms, plastic gold jewellery, brass pendants and earrings, Indomie packets and beads.

Performed by Lili Ulrich, Magdalena Petrova, Viana Afoumou and Illoy Dresdale.
